Armenia. News: Arpimed to increase production in 2011

Armenian pharmaceutical company "Arpimed" intends to increase production up to 2011 by 30% and to increase to 650 million drams, told journalists CEO Vachagan Kazarian, when he said: "In 2010 we invested about $1.5 million in production, which will allow to increase production by 30% by the end of the year, to introduce 30 new types of products, as well as expand the market. "

He noted that already in the first quarter production increased by 15% over the same period in 2010 and 120 million drams.

According to him, in 2010 the company exported 40% of output, and the rest is sold locally, and in 2011 plans to increase this to 50%.

"This year we will start producing 30 new titles of medications that are now at the stage of registration for export to Ukraine, Belarus and Georgia" - said Kazarian emphasizing that process will be completed by year end.

"Arpimed" registered in the Arab world about 40 kinds of medicines, but they are not exported because of the overall situation in these countries.

He noted that the company almost completely satisfies the domestic demand for psychotropic drugs.

Pharmaceutical company "Arpimed", was founded in 2001 on the draft of European experts and produces pharmaceuticals, preventive and therapeutic agents used in dentistry, antiseptic and disinfectant solutions, diagnostic and cosmetic products, as well as drugs for use in veterinary practice.
