Ukraine. Amendments to the State Procurement Procedure

On 22 April 2014 the acting President of Ukraine signed the Law of Ukraine “On State Procurement” dated 27 March 2014 (the “Law”).



The Law will become effective as from the date of its official publication. Among other issues the Law introduces more rigid public control over the state procurement and new possibilities for appealing procedures which are inconsistent with the legality principle.

The procedures of procurement of goods, services and works which were initiated before the Law becomes effective shall be completed within three months according to the previously effective procedure.
